In the second edition of the Watch.Read.Listen. Special Report, Duane and David breakdown the thirteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America: Civil War.
Note: After about 30 minutes we break into spoilers. We give you a heads up so if you go past that, well, that’s on you.
Overall we both enjoyed the film. David goes over some nitpicks that he has in terms of the way action scenes are shot, and the lack of memorable music coming out of the film. Both agree that it is one of the better films to come out of the MCU, and that it manages to close out the Captain America trilogy, and put our heroes in an interesting spot going into Phase 3.
P.S. We aren’t Marvel shills (still), and we manage to not talk about that other superhero film that came from the Distinguished Competition. Since, that seems to upset folks if you compare similar movies.
